Aunty Mabel’s Seat are a boutique furniture and interior design company who approached me to build an online presence to support and grow their business. With a popular and successful showroom already open, a new website was required to encourage enquiries and advertise and promote the high quality products available. The style and look and feel of the site were important as it needed to be unusual and arty yet reflect the high quality of products on sale.
To get the right look and feel, I put together a mood board with 5-6 variations of styles and themes. Wireframes were then used to map the layout and user journeys throughout the website pages. Usability are always key factors when designing product focused websites as there is often alot of important information to get across to the website user. Once the wireframe prototypes were finalised I created a unqiue and quirky design for the website that complimented the glamourous products.
